2. What do you think would be the hardest thing for you to give up on?

“Maybe the reason I can’t let go of my hate and anger that I mentioned before is because…I can’t stop caring about Vegeta?”

The thought bothers him a lot, because in his mind he’s unsure about Vegeta’s thoughts and feelings towards him. There were some mixed feelings left behind when he talked with Vegeta at Capsule Corp. prior to becoming a mentor here in Conton City. Vegeta admitted that he killed him for “no particular reason” yet he also thought of him as a father figure?

Deep in his heart, Nappa knows it might be easier to let go of the pain and anger if he didn’t care about the Saiyan prince as much as he did. Even after his betrayal there was always going to be a part of the bald Saiyan that would want to know how he’s doing, and sincerely wanted to see him have a better life than the one they had shared together while working under Frieza.

Perhaps he deserved to be killed for failing as a father figure?

It was one of the unpleasant possibilities Nappa thought of while he was stuck in Hell, forced to brood over what happened to him for years. Was that it then? Was that the real reason?
